11/24/09 - The shop will be closed for the Holidays from Dec. 22 to Jan. 2. (Basics Night on Dec. 21 ends the year and we reopen with the Jan. 3 Sunday shift.)
11/24/09 - The shop will be closed this coming Sunday Nov. 29.
11/01/09 - Saturdays and Mondays are now closed for the season. Many thanks to all the customers and volunteers who showed these new days to be viable for us during the busy season. Starting November 8th we'll be open on Sundays, but these will have specific restrictions. Please see our Sundays page for complete info.
10/08/09 - The shop will be closed for Thanksgiving Monday.
09/20/09 - A reminder that as of October 1st we will be switching to our Fall / Winter schedule. We'll be open Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6-9, and Thursdays will be closed to the general public. Saturdays and Mondays will continue for a while yet until demand drops off. Thursday Oct. 1st. will see the start of special volunteer-only sessions on the first and third Thursdays of each month. More info about this on our New Days page.
09/02/09 - The shop will be closed tonight (Wednesday). Our apologies for any inconvenience. (Our first unplanned closure this year, which is pretty good for a place based on volunteer staff.)
09/01/09 - For the upcoming Labour Day weekend the shop will be open on Saturday, but closed Monday.
07/29/09 - The shop will be OPEN on Monday August 3rd.
07/15/09 - re-Cycles has a new Volunteer Coordinator, as Mikolt Horvath has taken over the role from Melinda Roy. Thanks to Melinda for all the hard work she did for us over the past year in getting this role defined AND into place, and welcome to Mikolt!
06/21/09 - The shop will be closed on July 1st, Canada Day.
05/14/09 - For the upcoming long weekend the shop will be open on Saturday, but closed Monday.
04/13/09 - "Basics Night" for our volunteers returns! After a successful series during the winter we're keeping it going. They will now be held on the third Monday of each month (one week earlier in May). Please see the Basics Night page for full details.
04/09/09 - The shop WILL be open on Easter Monday, April 13 (noon-5).
04/01/09 - No Aprils Fool's joke here, the shop is now back on summer hours! And we're now open on Mondays as well! Details here.
